Anchoring at 9NEWS

After 3 months of hard work at 9NEWS I was able to put together my own sports segment....



And I was allowed to do it again a week later....



Here is also my resume reel of what I have thus far in my young career. There is other video that I haven't found yet that I'm going to put on there as I get it. So this is a mere update and the many resume reels to come....

My First Day

I always told people, ‘If you ain’t nervous you ain’t ready’ and boy was I ready.

By the time I arrived at 9NEWS the butterflies I had throughout the day were starting to get restless. But as I walked through the front door that all changed.

This is my element.

My job for the night…. Watching Auburn v Oregon in the National Title Game AND the Avs vs Red Wings game on side-by-side televisions. Nice. And who was there along side of me, but Drew Soicher himself. I was like a wishing well with no pennies; he gave me advice, answered questions and just plain hung out. Sweet.

If the rest of my days are anything like that first one I’m in for one heck of a ride.
