I was only kinda joking when I tweeted this morning that taking Tarvaris Jackson at QB in fantasy football. And as many people, 3 total, have responded that this is absurd. But let’s take a look see.
Tarvaris can throw TDs too!
The Vikings have the #1 running back in the league, Adrian Peterson, the #6 and #22 Sports Illustrated receivers with Sydney Rice and Percy Harvin and the #8 tight end in Visanthe Shiancoe. So all Tarvaris has to do is get the ball in the hands of these incredible players and let them do all the work.
Okay, if you have a top 8 pick in the draft I wouldn’t take T. Jackson either. But if you fall below that, go to the second round without a solid quarterback at the helm you would be stupid not to take him. And you can still wear your lucky Lee Dungarees on Sunday.
